Richard Rebneris, P.Eng.
Principal
Richard Rebneris has been the Principal of On Point Project Engineers Ltd. since the company was incorporated in 2013. Richard began his career in engineering after graduating from Lakehead University in 1996.
Richard’s engineering background is primarily in municipal and transportation engineering, project management, dispute resolution, risk management and construction & contract administration. He has been the Project Manager on a variety of multi-discipline initiatives throughout British Columbia and Canada for federal, provincial, municipal and private clients. Richard is the Responsible Officer under the Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia (EGBC) and is the executive leader of On Point.
In his free time Richard enjoys travelling, spending time with family and friends.
Peter Hibbert, P.L.Eng.
Senior Civil Engineering Manager
Peter Hibbert is a Senior Civil Engineer / Project Manager with over 25 years of experience in the civil engineering field. Peter joined the On Point team in February 2021 after being Principal of his own firm in Calgary, Alberta for 10 years. Peter received his Civil Engineering degree from Camosun College in 1996.
Peter has overseen and been responsible for planning, engineering design, project management, construction management, stormwater management, infrastructure improvements, roadway and parking improvements, erosion and sediment control, deep utility and shallow utility relocations and upgrades, park water service relocations and upgrades and resident inspections for numerous residential, commercial, institutional, entertainment facilities, business parks, industrial sites and subdivisions within southern Alberta, British Columbia and areas of Saskatchewan throughout his 25+ years of experience.
When Peter isn’t at work, you can find him socializing with family and friends, enjoying sport events and traveling.
Gabe Forrester, PMP, GSC
Project Manager/Construction Manager
Gabe Forrester is a seasoned Project Manager, Construction Manager, and Estimator with 23 years of experience. Gabe has his Gold Seal Certification in Cost and Project Planning, Contract Law, Estimating, and Project Management, Canadian Construction Institute as well as Quantity Surveyor, Estimating Program, George Brown University, 2010, BCBC Part 9, British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT), 2008
He has experience delivering both seismic upgrades and new construction projects. He is known for his strong problem-solving abilities and leadership and has built a reputation for effectively managing complex builds from planning through completion.
A highlight of his career includes his role with the VANOC team, where he led tenant improvements and operational setup for the 2010 Olympics. Recent projects include the YMCA/YWCA Langford Aquatic Centre, Solaris Condominium, a 130-unit multi-family project, Rugby Canada Training Facility, Leigh Road Business Park, Lakepoint One—a 46-unit mixed-use residential development.
When he’s not working, Gabe enjoys spending quality time with his family as well as camping, golfing and attending sporting events.
Brad Stewart
Chief Surveyor
Brad Stewart is On Point’s Chief Surveyor and leads the survey team. He has over 14 years of experience in the field and office. He graduated from the BCIT Geomatics program in 2014. Since joining the survey team in 2017, Brad has provided survey field work for several ongoing projects and has built a strong foundation of skills and experience to offer any new projects that are undertaken. Brad has a thorough understanding of field survey methods, calculations and computer programs like Autodesk Civil 3D, ReCap and Pix4D to produce deliverables from conventional, RTK and drone and LiDAR surveys.
In Brad’s free time, you can find him with his wife and daughter enjoying Vancouver Island camping, on road trips or traveling.
Katie Frank
Office Manager
Katie Frank is the Office Manager at On Point and leads the Administration team. Katie has over 25 years of Administration and customer service experience including a lengthy career in the home heating and fuel industry and several years with a private utility company that provides water and geothermal energy.
Katie and the Administration team manages the day-to-day operations that keep the office running smoothly and efficiently.
When not at work, you can find Katie at the gym weight training, or out for hikes and walks, and spending time with family.
