PAC Executive

We are parents and caregivers of Charles Best students, volunteering our time to support our school community.

    Provides overall leadership for the PAC and works with the executive, school administration and parent community.

  • Vice-Chair

    Supports the Chair and helps coordinate PAC activities and initiatives.

  • Secretary

    Coordinates PAC communications, meeting agendas, minutes and records.

  • Co-Treasurers

    Oversees PAC finances, budgets, fundraising revenue and expenditures.

  • DPAC Representative

    • Pamela Chan

    Represents Charles Best PAC at the District Parent Advisory Council and brings district-level information back to our PAC.

    Support PAC initiatives, committees, events and other activities throughout the year.

Want to join us?

PAC leadership changes from year to year as students graduate and families move on. Executive positions are elected each spring at the Annual General Meeting, and committee roles open up throughout the year. If you’re interested in getting more involved, we’d love to hear from you.

What the roles involve

The duties of each officer are set out in our Constitution & Bylaws. In short: the Chair leads meetings and represents the PAC; the Vice-Chair supports the Chair; the Secretary keeps agendas, minutes and records; the Treasurer manages the budget and reports on finances; the DPAC Representative carries information between our PAC and the district council; and Members-at-Large help wherever needed.
